Mohs Surgery
Mohs surgery has been shown to be a highly effective treatment for certain types of skin cancer, with a cure rate of up to 99% for certain tumors. Due to the fact that the Mohs procedure is micrographically controlled, it provides the most precise method for removal of the cancerous tissue, while sparing the greatest amount of healthy tissue. For this reason, Mohs surgery may result in a significantly smaller surgical defect and less noticeable scarring, as compared to other methods of skin cancer treatment. The Mohs procedure is recommended for skin cancer removal in anatomic areas where maximum preservation of healthy tissue is desirable for cosmetic and functional purposes. It may also be indicated for lesions that have recurred following prior treatment, or for lesions which have the greatest likelihood of recurrence.

Botox Injections
This simple and safe procedure dramatically reduces the appearance of crow's feet, frown lines and forehead wrinkles to achieve a rejuvenated look. With a very fine needle, the Botox blocks impulses from the nerve to the tiny facial muscles that are related to expression lines. Botox relaxes the muscles so they do not contract. After treatment, the overlying skin remains smooth and unwrinkled, while the untreated facial muscles contract in a normal fashion, allowing normal facial expression to be unaffected. No sedation is needed, and you can resume normal activities immediately. Results typically last for three to six months.

Collagen
Every year thousands of men and women achieve successful results with collagen. Collagen is a protein substance which cosmetic surgeons have been using effectively and safely in hundreds of thousands of patients over the years to treat facial wrinkles and scars and to augment lips.
CosmoDerm™ and CosmoPlast™ collagen products are the only FDA-approved, commercially available products that contain natural human collagen similar to that found in skin. Unlike bovine-based collagen products, CosmoDerm and CosmoPlast do not require a pre-treatment skin test, making them the first same-day, single-visit collagen product approved in the United States.
Results are safe and immediate whether correcting facial wrinkles, frown lines, nasolabial folds or vermilion borders. CosmoDerm is used in the treatment of superficial lines, whereas CosmoPlast is primarily used in the treatment of more pronounced wrinkles. Both contain lidocaine that reduces the pain of the injections.
Restylane
Restylane. It is derived from a non-animal stabilized Hyaluronic Acid, therefore eliminating the need for skin testing. It restores fullness to the skin to correct facial wrinkles, folds and mild scarring related to acne or injury. The average treatment results last six months or even longer.

Laser Hair Removal
One of the most advanced, reliable and effective methods of removing unwanted hair growth. In this procedure, hair is removed to reveal soft, smooth, stubble-free skin. Light is emitted onto the skin's surface, effectively disabling the hair follicle with virtually no pain or side effects. Facial procedures last a few minutes, while larger areas like the back and chest require one to two hours to treat.
Laser Skin Resurfacing
The Carbon Dioxide and Erbium lasers tighten the tissue underneath the skin and are ideal for treating lines around the eyes, forehead and cheeks and yield exceptional results in reducing the fine, vertical lines around the lips. These lasers can effectively reduce or eliminate wrinkles, while improving the tone and texture of the skin.
Laser Toning
This procedure is designed to combat the effects of aging in a softer, gentler way. This revolutionary process delivers the laser energy through your skin's surface to gently stimulate the production of collagen while protecting the outer layer of skin. The new collagen softens the appearance of aging skin. The Smoothbeam and Q-Switched Nd:YAG lasers are being used at our center for skin rejuvenation and for the treatment of acne scars. These laser treatments are performed with topical or no anesthesia, and there is no need for post-treatment skin care. Following the treatment, patients can return to normal activities with only mild redness lasting for several hours. A series of treatments are required to obtain the maximum benefit of treatment.

Microdermabrasion
Developed and used for years in Europe, this in office treatment has rapidly gained popularity in the United States. The skin is gently buffed using light pressure and ultra fine particles, which will gradually smooth down the superficial layers of skin. This results in a very smooth and healthy appearing skin surface. This is an excellent procedure for people with very sensitive skin and those patients with darker skin. It also has resulted in improved appearance of both wrinkles and acne scars. If you notice any suspicious areas, contact your doctor for an evaluation.

Fraxel® SR1500 Laser
The Fraxel SR1500 laser marks the first expansion of the Fraxel family of lasers, launched in Fall 2004. With the initial Fraxel launch, Reliant created a new category in anti-aging, collagen remodeling and skin resurfacing. The product provides a highly effective, predictable and safe non-ablative treatment for patients with acne scarring, melasma or hormonal skin discoloration, periorbital wrinkles and sun and age spots. The launch of the Fraxel laser represented an industry breakthrough for its ability to penetrate fractions of skin, spot by spot, without breaking the skin's protective outer barrier. The result is natural stimulation of new collagen without the fear of downtime and risks associated with traditional ablative treatments.
